How I Process Data
This is a pretty simple website, so there isn't a whole lot going on. Here's what you should know:
- Email Correspondence: If you send me an email, I'll have whatever personal information you choose to include. I use it to respond to you and for nothing else.
- Newsletter Subscription: Privacat Insights is hosted on Substack, which handles subscription data under their own privacy policy. I don't independently collect subscriber data beyond what Substack provides.
- External Links: This site links to LinkedIn and Bluesky. When you visit those platforms, they collect device and IP information under their own policies. I have no control over that.
- Cloudflare: This site is served through Cloudflare, which collects IP addresses and related metadata for security and performance purposes. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for details.
Legal Basis for Processing
If you send me an email, I process that information based on your consent (you initiated the contact). If you subscribe to the newsletter, Substack's terms apply.
I don't use analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies on this site. There's nothing to opt out of because I'm not collecting anything.
Your Rights
If you're in the EU/EEA, you have rights under the GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, and portability regarding any personal data I hold. In practice, the only data I'm likely to have is your email if you've written to me.
